The online platform - The Sailmakers Collective - create, commission, & curate unique art works, centering mainly on themes of esoteric & the surreal, wrapped up with a little dark humour.

All artefacts will come with a strong narrative -  a story about its creator, and how it came about.

Each print will be in limited editions of 10. Original art works may be available for sale at exhibitions…. SUCH AS THIS ONE. : )

The collective believe that everyone should have access to creating and consuming art. 

The collective supports local artists (focusing mainly, but not exclusively, on women artists), distributing their work with a carefully curated site. They aim to empower artists who have had less visibility in the art world. They will share art through the online gallery, as well as an occasional pop-up.

The Sailmakers Collective connect independent artists and designers both to the public (by sharing their knowledge through workshops/talks/pop-up galleries) and to each other, to enrich the local art community.

This exhibition is an announcement of the Sailmakers Collective’s initial birth.

They have received funding to set up shop and will be making our official launch later this year.
